Solomon Islands Cash Transfer Feasibility Study

Disaster READY: The Solomon Islands Cash Transfer Feasibility Study is the third in a series of three cash feasibility studies undertaken in Vanuatu, Fiji and now the Solomon Islands. Funded through Disaster READY and building on the regional Pacific Cash Preparedness Partnership, the Solomon Islands Feasibility Study was undertaken by CARE, Live & Learn, Oxfam, Save the Children, the World Food Programme (WFP), and World Vision.

It is intended to provide the necessary evidence to open up opportunities to mainstream cash voucher assistance within disaster preparedness and response activities in the Solomon Islands, enabling stakeholders to join a global community of cash voucher practitioners who have successfully adapted these approaches to their operating environments.
