AHP Anticipatory Action Fund Trial Post-Preparatory Stage Learning Report
AHP’s Anticipatory Action Fund (AHP AAF) trial leverages the partnerships and systems established under the Disaster READY program to conduct a trial of anticipatory action (AA) in Vanuatu, Timor-Leste, PNG and Solomon Islands. Through real-time review and monitoring, evaluation and learning, the lessons of the trial are being captured to inform future approaches to AA in the region.
The purpose of this report, prepared by Humanitarian Advisory Group, is to document the systems and processes implemented for the preparatory stage of the AHP AAF. The report examines what is working well and where opportunities exist for improvement and learning, capturing cross-country lessons from Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, PNG and Solomon Islands.
